Duroxite® 100

Duroxite® 100 deposits chromium-rich, abrasion-resistant materials on a mild steel base plate

The hardfacing overlay plate is suitable for severe abrasive wear and moderate to low-impact applications.

Duroxite® 100 is widely used in the mining, power generation, cement, dredging, steel production, waste handling, glass production, and pulp and paper industries. Applications include chutes/hoppers, liners from truck beds, shovel buckets, and crusher steel plates.

Duroxite® 101

Duroxite® 101 deposits chromium-rich carbide overlay on Hardox® 450 backing plate.

Duroxite 101 is designed to better withstand plastic deformation due to its high yield strength and ability to flex back after impact. This hardfacing carbide overlay is designed for severe abrasive wear and impact applications, from the outer layer down through 75% depth of the overlay using the Hardox® 450 AR wear steel backing plate.

Duroxite® 101 is designed to flex back after impact and offers stronger support due to the high hardness of Hardox® 450.

When the Duroxite 101 wears off, the Hardox® 450 backing plate will wear at a lower rate than mild steel, providing greater safety & cost margins.

Duroxite 101 applications include loader bucket liners, side shrouds, jaw shrouds, heel pads, dewatering conveyors, and coal discharge chutes.

Duroxite® 300

Duroxite® 300 is an iron-based steel alloy overlay deposited on mild steel.

Duroxite® 300 is designed for extremely severe sliding wear for both dry and wet (slurry) abrasive environments. It is used in mining, cement, oil sands, steel, power, agriculture, oil and gas, and construction. Applications include crusher rolls, skip liners, slurry pipes and pumps, conveyor chains, deflector blades, cranker crushers, surge bins, feed chutes, slurry pipes and pumps, ore chutes, fracking blender pumps, snow plow shoes, and demolition tools.

Duroxite® 100 Pipe

Duroxite® 100 Pipe deposits chromium-rich materials on a mild steel base.

Duroxite® 100 Pipe is available in both Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 AR 500 steel wear pipe. It’s also available as tubing that can be fabricated as square-to-round transitions, elbows, T or Y-shaped, or as long sweeps.
The benefits are the same wear resistance, guaranteed from surface down to 75% of the overlay. Duroxite 100 AR steel overlay pipe provides optimum carbon overlay plate with the best combination of wear resistance and bonding. Common applications are in mining, cement, and recycling oil sands including: slurry pumps, chutes, dredging pipes, culling glass, steel, air ducts, carbon injection pipes, suction lines, and troughs.

Duroxite® 100 Wire

Duroxite® 100 WIRE is a flux-cored welding wire
Duroxite welding wire is engineered for hardfacing components used for severe sliding wear and moderate to low impact. Duroxite overlay plates are applied using an open-arc welding process. The Duroxite Welding Wire weld deposit contains abrasion-resistant materials composed of a high proportion of extremely hard primary M7C3 chromium-rich carbides.
With a typical hardness of 1700 HK, Duroxite® 100 WIRE is suitable for single-layer or multiple-layer deposits up to a maximum of three layers. Duroxite Welding Wire is used for hardfacing wear parts undergoing wear by earth, sand, and abrasives up to 350°C (660°F). Typical uses are:  crusher hammers, gyratory crusher cones and mantles, dredge pumps, slurry pipes, dragline bucket liners, coal pulverizer rolls, coke hammers, sand dredging parts, mining and earthmoving components, and sorting screens.
