About Rocky Mountain Steel Services Rocky Mountain Steel Services was established in 1998 to fill a need that we found in the market: Simply put; we feel that we can provide a better service and a quicker delivery to our customers. We started in business working with the mining and industrial industries; cutting and forming Abrasion Resistant plates. Over the years we began adding a broader range of customers, both weld shops and machine shops, this has allowed us to carry a broader range of inventory; mild steel, aluminum, stainless, tool steels, while still being able to work with the mining and industrial companies. We added the Plasma/Oxy table to accommodate our customers in a quick turnaround for plate cutting. Then we added to the shop a 400 ton pressbrake to accommodate our plate bending customers. We felt it was necessary to move us to the next level, rather than waiting for our competition to help us, we decided it just made sense in our industry to do this ourselves, to be able to expand our service in a better way to help you with your deadlines. Our employees all understand that we need to do whatever it takes to get your product ready and delivered. We will cut and form with our burning table and press brake to exacting specifications. And have the experience that we can suggest alternative ideas if needed.
